司徒雷登(1876-1962)，美国基督教长老会传教士。外交官，教育家。1876年6月生于杭州，父母均为美国在华传教士。1904年开始在中国传教，曾参加建立杭州育英书院(即后来的之江大学)。1908年，应南京金陵神学院聘请，司徒雷登携妻儿离杭赴任。1919年起任燕京大学校长、校务长。1946年任美国驻华大使，1949年8月离开中国。1962年9月19日逝于美国华盛顿。
